I can't imagine that many wee kids banding together for an assault but "Lord of the flies" ( do I have that title correct? ) comes to mind. ( or is it "Children of the Corn?" ) ;-)

I've never read Children of the Corn, but Lord of the Flies definitely has the "creepy little possessed-children gang" vibe going.
(I have an insanely strong urge to toss all the Middle-Schoolers I can find onto a deserted island and see what happens).
