My primary reasons for blogging are to make contact with the larger gay community, to develop friendships with others who are homosexual or allies, and to become better informed about homosexuality in general. My goal, the "what I want to do when I grow up" thing, is to assist those in the glbt community with adjustment problems, coming out, etc. I'm kinda vague about details, which is one of the reasons I am hanging around the blogosphere with the fabulous gays, so I can learn more about the whole phenomenon.
Recently this space has been filled with content about my family, particularly the younger children with severe emotional/mental disabilities. This blog is about my life, or something like it, and my life right now is concentrated on the kids and my college experience. There hasn't been as much "gay" here as I like, but it is what it is. There hasn't been as much "gay" in my life as I like to have, either, dammit.
And speaking of college, I need to study. With that I bid you adieu.

don't kid yourself.. your life is very gay. probably more gay than my own life. and thanks for the kind words....
study well my dear dear friend
You continuously amaze me at your ability to compartmentalize so that you can continue in your personal goals. You go, woman.
You and I have such similar strategy in blogging. My ultimate goal differs, though: to teach the LGBT community how to get what they want from the straight community, and to teach the straight community how to give it generously and genuinely.
The struggle of life is in both groups the same, some with kids and others with themselfs.
You're on the right track even when it's full of pitches and mountains to conquer.
(((((JAVA)))))
Great job on coming out as a breeder..yay for you! Just kidding..I love all the support you give the community. you are so sweet!
you would be surprised at how little "gay" there is sometimes in our "gay" lives :) i think we are all just struggling with the same things, we just happen to love people of the same gender.
I'm one of your biggest Homo-Fans! I think you're going to make an excellent therapist/counselor to LGBT youth!
And considering where you live, your services will be sorely needed.
Now hurry up and get your degree girl, so we can throw you a FAAAAAAAAAABULOUS graduation party. Nothing says, "I graduated from college" like drag queens and leather boys dancing to Gloria Gaynor on your front porch!
THAT ought to make some head explode in your neighborhood. LOL
I live a life like a lot of other fifty something men with the exception that I’m in a relationship with a man. Although I probably spend more money on clothes, cars and vacations than most straight men. Don’t worry about having a lot of gay in your life. You have other more important things to concentrate on at this time. They gays will still be here when things get under control.
I'm gay and my life is completely void of "gay" so you are in good company.
Well then it will just be up to us in the glbt community to bring the gay to you.
Streisand!
Kylie!
Cosmos!
Fire Island Pines!

Well, my life is so gay that I can no longer translate into heteronese. I just can't do it. I speak fluent shebonics to total strangers.
I've got enough gay to go around, I guess. You kids can have some of mine. Enjoy!
