I have a thing or two I want to say about church
*going vs not going
*hypocrisy
*faith vs. religion
And I have a thing or two to say about coming out as a straight ally to my old friends who don't know what I've been up to recently.
These things are on my mind, but tonight my mind is too tired and dizzy and fuzzy and mushy to form coherent thoughts. Obviously.
Love you all, my dear readers.
good night

We go regularly...or at least when we're in town. To an open, affirming, welcoming, warm, nonjudgmental, supportive fellowship. It's amazing. I didn't know there were such places!
i hear on faith vs. religion. former mormon here. even when you think you're okay with it all something else pops up that makes you wonder, WTF?!?!!
As a somewhat religious gay man who consideres himself a "recovering Catholic", I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to say about church, faith and religion.
whoo-eee, looking forward to that post! I'm a former religious zealot, currently no religion, and am involved in ally work, mostly in communities of color, but also in the GLBT community.
