It's a special day...

...for Diva. Today is her 11th birthday.
Here's what we had for dinner
This is her birthday cake. I made the frosting, she added the food color.
She has just blown out the candles. Will you look at that expressive face!
And speak of expressive, what the heck is this?
This is the special plate we use for special people on their special days. If I can find it. And sometimes it is used as the cake plate. Diva lucked out today and got to use it for her dinner.
There was some debate about which of these expressions was more appropriate for a picture. Superman thinks the big wide mouth is a bit much.
She got a Barbie doll from Sproing. Superman and I (Just me, really. It was a surprise to him, too) got her a set of headphones for her CD player and a CD of (wait for it....) Hannah Montana!! OK, she's 11. She was very excited about the CD. She asked for the headphones, so that wasn't a big surprise.

Happy Birthday, Baby Girl!
