Perhaps I should write something on this blog, as it's been a while since I've posted anything.
I am not sure what to write, though. There is too much stuff and nothing running around in my head all at the same time. I have no idea what that looks like.
I'm trying to move on, to accept Daddy's death and carry on with my life. Sometimes it works well, sometimes I'm a mess. It's getting better. I will be back in Florida in a couple of weeks for the Life Celebration Party to honor his life. I'm sort of looking forward to that. There will be way too many people at the event, most of whom I do not know. You know that makes me uncomfortable. Maybe I can find some place to hide out in case it gets too overwhelming.
The children have been on spring break all week. What a horror. OK, it's really not that bad. They've been loud and argumentative (what's new?) but haven't gotten into serious trouble. No law enforcement involved at all, no fire fighters, EMS, or other emergency vehicles have come to the house all week, so we must be OK.
Baseball season started Monday! Yay Braves! They won two out of three games in their first series against the Phillies. I saw the first game, forgot about the second game until it was over, and was out with Superman at our favorite hangout during the third game. There's another one tonight, Atlanta hosting the Cubs, which I may watch. I'm very sleepy right now, so I might put on the game and fall asleep to it. I love falling asleep to the sound of Chip Caray and Joe Simpson calling the game. Baseball can be such a peaceful game.
Seriously, do I have anything to blog about? I'm putting myself to sleep with this boring chatter.
I bought ink for my printer today.
Saw my doctor this morning about pain in my left heel. He diagnosed tendinitis.I'll live.
We're almost out of beer. Someone needs to make a beer run soon.
I brought home a couple of six packs of local Florida beer. Good stuff! It's all gone. I'll get more when I return for Daddy's life celebration in two weeks.
I am boring.

Boring beats hell outta crazy.
But you are neither, dear.
I love you, and although the *reasons* for us being in the same place at the same time soon are very sad and mournful, I am looking forward to seeing you.
I love you, and it's good to hear that the dibbuns aren't making your life more criminally difficult.
Sometimes nothing to blog about is a good thing. Since the bloggerpalooza, I've been stretched to come up with anything, and actually went back and looked at posts I'd started a long time ago to try to find something.
Glad you had a good spring break. Holy crap, I was ready to quit work by Tuesday afternoon, then the boss got busy with other stuff and disappeared into his office so it got better. Monday, everyone is back. Argh.
Peace <3
Jay
You didn't bore me dear. I find steam of consciousness blog postings always interesting. But maybe that's just weird me. At the Bloggerpalooza I was hoping to have my dear writer friend Fay Jacobs present to talk about how to write but she couldn't make it this time. Maybe she will next year. She is a wonderfully talented writer. I asked her "how do you do it." Her answer was simple "Just write it down. Don't think about it, just write it." That's what I do honey. Maybe some like it, maybe some don't but tell you what, I feel good about what I write always because my writing/blogging is a form of self-therapy for me and it works. I hope it does for you too. Give my best to Superman!
Ron
So sorry (again) for the loss of your father. Its certainly understandable that you're not yourself right now so don't feel badly about your posting. I'm glad you're staying in touch with us.
I second ron. and at the rate you and superman have been going the past few weeks, you are likely crashing and burning.
take care of your mental health, dear!
"No news is good news." Would that life were more boring for some of us now and again. Enjoy the lull, my new friend.
Never boring.
Get some Killians, no rubbish.
Sorry again for your loss but what a wonderful way to approach it; "Life Celebration Party". Good for you.
Did I read somewhere that you have a puppy now? Details please!
I'll admit I have a slightly different reason for loving opening day. It means spring training is over and, in Phoenix, that is cause for celebration.
