Update on the man in the closet

This is a follow up on this post.

I had a chance to talk to A yesterday about our mutual friend. A says he has encouraged _______ to come out, as have many other concerned friends and relatives. But ______ gets very irate when the topic comes up! A suggested that I not have that talk with him, at least not now. So I won't. I will, however, try to make positive comments when given the opportunity.
A did say he would mention me to _____, tell him that I am a good resource for support, encourage him to come to me if he needs to talk. I think that's a great idea. I hope A gets to have that conversation with him.
